After relocating to the United States, she served her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY (1996). Furthermore, she conducted a selective pathology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY (1998). Dr. Stokes received board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology from the American Board of Pathology. She remains a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (FCAP), having met the standards and guidelines required of the nation’s leading pathologists.
